What is the Oceanside Optimist Club?

We are a local chapter of Optimists International proudly serving the children of Oceanside since 1946. Our motto is "BRINGING OUT the BEST in KIDS."

What do we do?

• Raise money to help fund childhood cancer research.
• Sponsor essay and oratorical contests for scholarships for middle-school and high-school students.
• We run the concession stand at the track-meets.

Who we are?

Right now, the Oceanside Optimist Club has 21 active members. We've put this website up so that we can reach out to the community by taking advantage of the most current technology. We hope to attract new members so that we can get involved with, and create more activities for our local school-kids.
